sharing continuous curiosity
The right-click
It must have been somewhere in the mid nineties when I walked in at my neighbor while he was frantically typing on his laptop, and I asked him what he was doing.
“I’m creating a website” he said and curious as I was I asked him how it was done; “creating a website”.
His answer was simple: “Right-click and view source …” he said. So I did and I began breaking down the countless puzzling lines bit by bit, figuring out what was going on in the almost humanlike <head> and <body> of <html>.
This was back then, but although most of the ancient abacadabra is clear to me now, the world of constructing web pages keeps evolving, requiring continuous curiosity, especially when it involves well organizing customizations in a child theme, so they can be easily used over and over and over again.
So what I’ve learned since the nineties and what I will be learning in the future I would like to share with you.
